You're never too young to make a difference and to help people who need it, and our Rudolph Run is a festive fundraising event especially for primary school and nursery aged children who want to make a difference in their community.
Whether you’d like to get your whole school involved or take part with just a few year groups or classes, you can make Rudolph Run work for you.
This festive season, why not join us and help to bring some Christmas joy to the some of the hundreds of families supported by your local hospice?
Whether your little reindeers are prancing around the playground, dashing through PE, or strolling in a festive fancy dress parade, the Rudolph Run is all about fun and festive fundraising and having a great time while helping local people who are living with a terminal illness and their families.
What's included?:
- Make your own Rudolph antler crown – a fun, creative and more sustainable way to get ready for the run
- Festive classroom activities – festive activities to bring Rudolph Run into the classroom and keep children engaged
- Special Rudolph Run videos to share with children – learn about the Hospice, get warmed up and receive a special thank you from Santa!
- Fundraising resources and ideas to help children and families get involved
- A Rudolph Run certificate for every child who takes part
- A special thank-you assembly with our team to celebrate your school’s Rudolph Run achievement
- A cheque presentation photo opportunity after the event to celebrate your fundraising with us
What do you need to do?
To take part, simply register with us first – your registration form helps us get to know your school or nursery and gives us everything we need to support you, including your planned date, number of children taking part and the resources you’d like.
We recommend signing up early where possible, but don’t worry if you don’t have every detail decided yet. If you’re not sure of your exact Rudolph Run date, you can still register and let us know once you’ve decided.
Just for your information: some of our support options, such as certificate delivery to your school, are available for registrations received by certain dates. After these dates, collection from the Hospice may be the available option.
How to join:
- Register with us – tell us about your school or nursery and how we can support you
- Choose your Rudolph Run date – if you’re not sure yet, just let us know as soon as you can
- Get ready – we’ll provide your Rudolph Run resources ahead of your event, so you have plenty of time to prepare.
