Reach new heights for Community Hospice

Take on Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) over three unforgettable days while raising vital funds for local hospice care.

We're teaming up with the expert Endurotrek team to take on the legendary National Three Peaks Challenge, climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales over three incredible days, all while raising vital funds for the Community Hospice.

This is your chance to challenge yourself, meet an amazing group of like-minded people and experience some of the UK's most spectacular scenery, from the rugged Scottish Highlands to the breathtaking landscapes of the Lake District and Eryri (Snowdonia).

Over one epic weekend, you'll summit:

  • Friday 18th, Day 1 : Ben Nevis (Scotland) - 1,345m (4,413 ft)
  • Saturday 19th, Day 2: Scafell Pike (England) - 978m (3,209 ft)
  • Sunday 20th, Day 3: Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon in Wales) - 1,085m (3,560 ft)

Whether you're looking for your next adventure, ticking something off your bucket list, or simply want to do something incredible for a great cause, this challenge is for you.

No previous mountain experience is needed; however, you should have a good level of fitness.

The challenge at a glance

Friday 18, Day 1: Ben Nevis, Scotland

You'll need to make your own way to Glasgow, where the challenge officially begins.

Travel to Glasgow is not included, so you will be responsible for booking and paying for your own flights, train tickets or other transport. Once you've arrived and met the group, you'll transfer to Fort William, the gateway to the Scottish Highlands, ready to take on Ben Nevis.

From approximately 12pm to 6pm, you'll take on Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK. After celebrating your first summit, we'll return to Glasgow for an overnight stay in a budget hotel such as a Premier Inn or Ibis.

Accommodation: Twin room included. Single room upgrade available for an additional £90.

Saturday 19, Day 2: Scafell Pike, England

After breakfast, you'll travel south to the stunning Lake District.

Today's challenge is Scafell Pike, England's highest mountain, with an estimated trekking time of around five hours. After completing the climb, you'll continue your journey to Eryri (Snowdonia) for the final summit.

Accommodation: Hostel or budget hotel accommodation. Dormitory accommodation is included, with the option to upgrade to a private room for an additional £90.

Sunday 20, Day 3: Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), Wales

After breakfast, it's time for the final challenge.

You'll climb Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), the highest mountain in Wales, taking in incredible views as you complete the third and final peak.

Once the challenge is complete, we'll celebrate your achievement before travelling back to the hospice by minibus, arriving in Abbey Wood

Frequently asked questions

No previous mountain experience is needed, but you should have a good level of fitness and be prepared to put some training in before the trek.

A good level of hill-walking fitness and cardiovascular endurance is essential. While spreading the challenge across three days makes it more accessible than the 24-hour version, climbing a major mountain three days in a row requires strong leg strength and stamina. Friday 18th June

*Arrive in Glasgow via your own pre-arranged transport (flight, train or other travel not included)

Meet the team and transfer to Fort William (approximately 2.5-3 hours)

Climb Ben Nevis (12pm-6pm)

Transfer back to Glasgow

Overnight stay

*Important: Participants are responsible for arranging and paying for their own one way travel to Glasgow. The challenge begins from the designated group meeting point in Glasgow. You will be returning to the hospice on Sunday 20 via minibus.

Saturday

Breakfast (7.30am-8.30am)

Transfer to the Lake District (approximately 2.5-3 hours)

Climb Scafell Pike (approximately 12pm-5pm)

Transfer to Eryri (Snowdonia) (approximately 3.5 hours)

Overnight stay

Sunday

Climb Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) (approximately 5-6 hours)

Return to the Hospice in Abbey Wood via minibus

There is a minimum sponsorship commitment of £1,200. This includes a £120 non-refundable registration fee, which will contribute towards the overall trek cost of £559.

There is also the option to pay for the trek costs (£559) and raise £641 in sponsorship.

Yes. Many people sign up with friends, family or colleagues. It can be a great way to take on a challenge together. However places are limited to 30.
