We are delighted to announce the appointment of Debbie Marsh as our new Director of Nursing and Quality.
This important leadership role brings together nursing leadership with responsibility for quality, safety and continuous improvement across our services. Debbie will play a key part in helping ensure that the care we provide remains compassionate, safe, inclusive, and always focused on what matters most to patients and families.
Debbie brings a wealth of experience in senior clinical leadership across hospice, community and wider health and care settings. She has led inpatient services, strengthened clinical governance and quality improvement, and supported safeguarding and workforce development. She is also known for working closely and collaboratively with teams and partners across the health and care system to
deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
As someone who lives locally, Debbie has a strong connection to our community and a genuine understanding of the people we serve. She brings both professional expertise and a deep personal commitment to hospice care, alongside a clear passion for supporting staff and helping services continue to grow and develop.
Aneta Saunders, Interim Chief Executive at Community Hospice, said:
