Would you like to be part of a team that really makes a difference?

Please confirm which role you are applying for in your application form

We’re looking for a Rehabilitation & Wellbeing Assistant who is caring, motivated and ready for a role that’s both varied and rewarding. If you enjoy supporting people to stay active, independent and connected, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

At Community Hospice, we’re a well-respected local charity providing high-quality care for people living with a terminal illness. Our Rehabilitation and Wellbeing Team plays an important role in helping people live as well as possible, for as long as possible.

This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll support patients across our inpatient unit, outpatient services and wellbeing programmes, working closely with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team.

You’ll help deliver rehabilitation programmes, therapeutic activities and wellbeing groups that support physical, emotional and social wellbeing. Most importantly, you’ll have the time to build meaningful relationships and make a genuine difference to people and families during an important stage of life.

What we’re offering:

  • A rewarding role within a supportive and friendly team
  • Opportunities to develop skills in rehabilitation, wellbeing and palliative care
  • Varied work across inpatient, outpatient and group settings
  • Ongoing training, learning and peer support
  • The chance to be part of a service that values creativity, compassion and person-centred care

What we’re looking for:

  • Someone with experience in healthcare, rehabilitation or wellbeing support
  • A compassionate and positive approach to supporting others
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Someone who is proactive, adaptable and confident working with people with complex needs
  • Experience in hospice or palliative care is helpful – but not essential

Sound like a good fit?

We’d love to hear from you. Come and bring your skills to a team where you’ll be valued, supported and inspired every day.

We are an equal opportunities employer and are committed to inclusion. We celebrate and embrace diversity and thus encourage applications from a variety of backgrounds, perspective, knowledge and skills.

Application deadline: Tuesday 09 June 2026 Midday
