Why we want you
Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice shops are an excellent way for the community to support the hospice through shopping, donating and volunteering. As well as raising much needed funds for the hospice, they also help raise our profile in the community, enabling people to learn more about how we support people with life limiting illness. We welcome people from all backgrounds.
What you will be doing
- Sorting donated items in to various categories
- Identifying unsaleable donations for recycling
- Hanging and tagging clothing and other items
- Ensuring the stock room is clean and tidy
- Moving and handling donations
The skills and qualities you need
- Ability to work well in a team as well as independently
- Good communication skills
- Reliable & trustworthy
- Reasonably physically fit as there is lots of moving around
- Over the age of 18
