eBay Volunteer

This role is ideal for someone who wants to make a positive impact, by helping the hospice generate vital income from the online sales of donated items. You'll be supported by a friendly team and have an opportunity to use your existing skills, as well as developing new ones. We're looking for volunteers who can help out on either Mondays or Fridays, ideally for a 2-4 hour shift.

How you can make a difference

The Community Hospice is fortunate to receive donated items from our local community. Some of these items are perfect for online sales on platforms like eBay as well as Vinted and Depop. By volunteering with us, you can help to raise much needed funds to support local people and their loved ones too.

What you will be doing

• Taking photos of donated items
• Researching product details and assigning a value
• Writing clear, engaging descriptions of products
• Uploading photos, descriptions and prices to eBay, Vinted, or Depop
• Liaising with the wider hub team via WhatsApp for specialist item research

Full training will be provided.

What skills and qualities can you bring

• Basic computer literacy and some knowledge/ability with online selling
• Strong attention to detail
• Trustworthy and reliable
• Over the age of 18
