Our warehouse in Welling is our main hub, where the majority of our donated stock is sorted and sent out to our 14 Community Hospice shops across Greenwich and Bexley.
How you can make a difference
Volunteer support is vital in helping us to sort through donations and send them out to our shops to be sold, raising funds to support the people of Greenwich and Bexley with terminal illness and their loved ones.
What you will be doing
- Sorting donated items into categories
- Identifying unsellable items for recycling
- Hanging and tagging clothing and other items
- Helping to ensure the stock room is clean and tidy
- Moving and handling donations
What skills and qualities can you bring
- Reasonable physical fitness as there can be a fair amount of moving around
- Able to complete tasks both with the support of a team and independently
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Over the age of 18
