Warehouse Volunteer

Our warehouse in Welling is our main hub, where the majority of our donated stock is sorted and sent out to 16 Community Hospice shops across Greenwich and Bexley.

Where you will be based

The warehouse is in Welling at 16 Bellegrove Parade, DA16 2RE.

How you can make a difference

Volunteer support is vital in helping us to sort through donations and get them out to our shops to be sold, raising funds to support the people of Greenwich and Bexley with terminal illness and their loved ones.

What you will be doing

• Sorting donated items into categories
• Identifying unsaleable items for recycling
• Hanging and tagging clothing and other items
• Helping to ensure the stock room is clean and tidy
• Moving and handling donations

What skills and qualities can you bring

• Reasonably physically fit as there is a lot of moving around
• Ability to work well in a team and independently
• Reliability and trustworthiness
• Over the age of 18
