Sales Assistant Volunteers make a meaningful difference to the Community Hospice by greeting customers, handling sales, processing donations, and creating vibrant shop displays.

How you can make a difference
Our shops are a fantastic way for the community to support the Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice through shopping, donating, and volunteering. They raise vital funds and increase our profile, helping people learn about how we support those with life-limiting illnesses. We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds.
What you will be doing
- Greeting and assisting customers
- Handling money and operating the till
- Receiving and processing new donations, including Gift Aid registration
- Creating attractive window and shop displays
What skills and qualities can you bring
- Customer service skills or a willingness to learn
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Reliability and trustworthiness
- Non-judgemental, patient, and friendly demeanour
- Over the age of 18
