How you can make a difference

Our shops are a fantastic way for local people to support the Community Hospice through shopping, donating items and volunteering. With your skills and experience, you can help the hospice to raise vital funds that will help to support our patients living with a terminal illness, through the sales of donated items.

What you will be doing

• Greeting and assisting customers
• Handling money and operating the till
• Receiving and processing new donations, including Gift Aid registration
• Creating attractive window and shop displays

What skills and qualities can you bring

• Customer service skills or a willingness to learn
• Ability to work well in a team and independently
• Reliability and trustworthiness
• Non-judgemental, patient, and friendly demeanour
• Over the age of 18
