How you can make a difference

At Community Hospice, we want everyone in our wonderfully diverse community to be able to approach death in the way that suits their values, beliefs and lifestyle. To be able to provide our end of life care, we rely on the kindness and generosity of those who support us through fundraising.

We’re looking for a Fundraising Volunteer to help us provide the best communication and support to our fundraisers, by helping with admin tasks such as making phone calls to supporters, putting together event packs, adding notes to our fundraising database and scanning documents.

If you have good administrative skills and want to make a difference locally, this could be the perfect role for you.

What you will be doing

• Making phone calls to supporters to check in on their fundraising and offer support from our team
• Putting together event packs with our fundraising branded materials
• Uploading notes to our fundraising database
• Photocopying and scanning documents

What skills and qualities can you bring?

• Basic computer skills, with experience of using Microsoft packages like Outlook, Word and Excel
• Confident with speaking to people on the phone
• Good attention to detail when typing up notes and information
• Friendly and warm communication skills
