Labyrinth raises £16,017 for Community Hospice

On Thursday 6 November, we were delighted to welcome the team from Labyrinth, an independent promoter, curator and production company known for staging pioneering live music experiences in unique spaces, to our hospice following their incredible support over the summer. During their Labyrinth on the Thames festival at the Old Royal Naval College, the Labyrinth team raised an amazing £16,017 in support of local hospice care.

Over six wonderful evenings, they brought people together through music and creativity. We were also given the opportunity to have a stall at the festival and this was a fantastic chance for us to connect with the community, share more about the care we provide, and meet new supporters.

Their visit to the hospice was both a moment of thanks and an opportunity for them to see first-hand where the funds they raised are going, and how they help make a difference to patients and families every day. We gave them a tour of the hospice, taking them through the wards, gardens, gym and offices. They spoke about how much they loved the hospice and how friendly and welcoming our staff were.

The team also met with our CEO, Kate Heaps, and Deputy CEO, Aneta Saunders, and visited our on-site hospice shop, where a few even made some purchases to show their support and picked up some amazing pre-loved finds while they were at it!

We are so grateful to the Labyrinth team for choosing to support us and for their continued commitment to making a difference in our community. We look forward to next year’s Labyrinth on the Thames festival and to seeing them again.

Thank you for helping us make every moment count.
