Join our friendly retail team and help raise vital funds for Community Hospice, supporting people and families facing life-limiting illness. We're looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and reliable Key Holder to support the day-to-day running of the shop, work closely with volunteers, and deliver excellent customer service.
Your role:
- Open and close the shop and lead daily operations when the manager is away
- Support and motivate our brilliant volunteer team
- Ensure the shop is clean, tidy and well-presented
- Maximise sales by sorting, pricing and displaying stock effectively
- Handle petty cash, expenses and daily banking
- Follow stock rotation and health and safety procedures
- Support a welcoming and positive shop environment
What you’ll need:
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, flexible and great at time management
- Previous retail or customer service experience – further training will be provided
- Comfortable moving stock and dealing with a varied workload
Experience with tills and cash handling is helpful, but we’ll provide training and support to help you succeed.
