7 or 14 (Flexible, Monday to Sunday, including weekend only work)

Join our friendly retail team and help raise vital funds for Community Hospice, supporting people and families living with a terminal illness or facing death. We're looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and reliable Key Holder to support the day-to-day running of the shop, work closely with volunteers, and deliver excellent customer service.

Your role:

  • Open and close the shop and lead daily operations when the manager is away
  • Support and motivate our brilliant volunteer team
  • Ensure the shop is clean, tidy and well-presented
  • Maximise sales by sorting, pricing and displaying stock effectively
  • Handle petty cash, expenses and daily banking
  • Follow stock rotation and health and safety procedures
  • Support a welcoming and positive shop environment

What you’ll need:

  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable, flexible and great at time management
  • Previous retail or customer service experience – further training will be provided
  • Comfortable moving stock and dealing with a varied workload

Experience with tills and cash handling is helpful, but we’ll provide training and support to help you succeed.
