The successful candidate will work as part of the multidisciplinary team, delivering care on our 19 bedded inpatient unit, under the supervision of registered nurses.
The successful candidates will hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health/Social care or equivalent, alongside relevant palliative care experience, and will demonstrate a commitment to providing a high standard of care to patients.
With a sound understanding of health and safety and infection control, candidates will demonstrate excellent communication skills including awareness of ways that may help to overcome barriers to communication (dementia and sensory disability ect) You should also have the ability to meet a patients physical, social and psychological needs appropriately as they approach end of life.
