Your time counts

Our patients can get the care and support they need, thanks to the 300+ amazing volunteers who give so generously of their time to help our services run smoothly.

Your time makes all the difference

It costs around £12 million a year to provide end of life care to the people of Greenwich and Bexley – in their own homes, in hospital, or the hospice. Some people volunteer a few hours a year, some volunteer once a week. Every minute matters.

Meet our volunteer team and find out what it’s really like to volunteer with us

Whether you want to share your skills (or learn new ones), meet people in the community, and do something meaningful with your time - we’ve got the role for you. From working in our beautiful garden, providing someone with company at home as a Compassionate Neighbour at home, lending a hand at a fundraising event, making a cup of tea, helping in one of our 15 shops in the community or selling donated items online – your time counts. And we promise to use it wisely. Please note we are currently only accepting applications from people over the age of 18.
