When Harbhajan Kaur “Mama” Seera was cared for by the hospice, her family chose to honour her by coming together — with ten grandchildren running the 5k and 10k at Thorpe Park to raise over £4,000 in her name. None of them were runners, but the training brought them closer, turning into a joyful way to reconnect, support one another, and celebrate Mama’s love of family. Their story shows that you don’t need experience to take part — just the heart to do something meaningful.
