What is Unity in Diversity Week?

Unity in Diversity Week is a chance for all hospice staff to come together and celebrate the many cultures, backgrounds, and experiences that make up our community. From 3-6 November 2025, we’ll have events, exhibitions, and shared moments that highlight what unites us.

Our hospice is stronger because of the incredible diversity of our staff. Every culture, heritage and perspective adds something unique to who we are and how we care for our community.

We're celebrating the different cultures that make up our hospice

As part of our Unity in Diversity Celebration Day we are asking all staff to come to work in their favourite traditional dress on Thursday, 6 November 2025.

This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase and celebrate the rich cultural heritage within our Hospice team. This is for all staff across all hospice sites (Retail and Hospital teams).

Let’s make this a vibrant and inclusive day! Our Comms team will be on hand to capture photos and share highlights, so we can celebrate together.

If you have any questions or need guidance, please reach out to Annie.

Thank you for helping us make this day special and for embracing the diversity that makes our hospice community so unique.
